SY's Farewell

Unfortunately SY's farewell countdown has begun. When you're having such a fun time, time does fly. The official beginning of the farewell was marked by a hockey game which Chicago very fittingly won in OT.

Round 2 was a dinner party at our apt. We were catering for 20 ppl but ended up cooking enough food for 30 :) All during prep I was saying "I hope there's enough food".

Cheeseheads

So after bagging our neighbours to the north (Wisconsin) and calling them Cheeseheads like the local Illinois people do, we decided to go see what all the hooplah was about. We went to Madison, WI for the day and were really impressed with the fresh food and the markets. Something both of us miss here in Chicago.
